"Helping Hearts" Food Pantry

Fairview "Helping Hearts, Helping Hands" has served the community of Fairview beginning in 2011. "Helping Hearts" provides a bi-weekly food pantry from the Fairview Fire Station on Wednesdays from 12-2:00 pm. The Food Pantry serves ten area communities (Avon, Ellisville, Fairview, Fiatt, London Mills, Maquon, Middle Grove, Norris, Rapatee and Smithfield), serving approximately 155 people.

The Red Cross

Historically, Fairview Reformed Church has hosted a blood drive for the American Red Cross.

Area Ministries



Love INC

Love Inc (or Love in the Name of Christ) is a national para-church ministry which works to show God's love to the poor and needy. Love INC provides assistance to those in need of financial assistance or some other type of need. Love INC is located in Canton, IL.

Galesburg Rescue Mission and Women's Shelter

The purpose of the Galesburg Rescue Mission and Women's Shelter is to provide shelter, food, clothing and counseling at no charge to needy men, women and children and to care for their spiritual needs by sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Galesburg Resue Mission and Women's Shelter is open 24/7 every day of the year to meet emergency shelter needs.

Peoria Rescue Ministries

Peoria Rescue Ministries mission is "to serve and glorify God through a Christ-centered outreach of love that responds to the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of hurting men and women, and their dependent children, without regard to race, creed or social standing." Peoria Rescue Ministries is invovled in a number of efforts including serving meals at the Rescue Mission, Victory Acres, and Esther house as well as providing clothing and lodging to those in need. The Peoria Rescue Ministries also supports a Women's Pregnancy Center as well as counselling at Barnabas Center. More info on the mission may be found at Peoria Rescue Ministries.
