Note to Pompton Reformed members: Following each week's worship, prayer cards are placed in the basket in the Prayer/History Room. Feel free to visit that room anytime, and to pray over the many needs.
Because of confidentiality, we are not able to list individual names on this web page, but here are situations we have been upholding in prayer:
--For area food pantries and helping agencies and the people they serve. Numerous people are assisted by Pompton Reformed's food pantry each week, several who are also dealing with a host of difficult issues. Please uphold those reeling from financial setbacks and job layoffs.
--For faithfulness in living out our vision of building a community where all experience the love and grace of Jesus Christ.
--Prayers for those dealing with a host of difficult circumstances, including illness, upcoming surgeries, family conflict, alcohol or drug dependency, temptation, loneliness, forgiveness of self or of others.
--For the upcoming selection process of new elders and deacons, and for the work of the new Task Force, seeking ways to strengthen the health of PRC.
--For Pompton Reformed Church staff, consistory and committees, and the people they serve. For the ministry and service of the Reformed Church in America, for General Secretary Tom DeVries and denominational staff, for our seminaries and missionaries.
