PURPOSE FOR OUR CHURCH

The Reformed Dutch Church of Hyde Park is a congregation of the Reformed Church in America, the oldest denomination in America with a continuous ministry on this continent.

We are a gathering of families and friends, who believe and follow the word of God. We are the oldest Church in the area and have been serving this area since 1789. Members of our congregation come from many religious roots.

Our purpose is to minister to the total life of all people by preaching, teaching, and proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and by all Christian good works. The Holy Scriptures are the only rule of faith and practice in the Reformed Church in America. In the name of our great God, we invite and call you to this wonderful story and celebration! Our prayer is that you might find yourself, more and more in the gracious heart of God, becoming like him as you grow in worship, in works, in community within the life of our congregation.

We are a friendly, loving, and caring congregation. We hope that you will meet with us in the near future.

Bless you!
