The Rev. Dennis B. Wilcox was born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan and graduated with honors from Hope College in 1967. He received awards in preaching and the Pientenpol Senior Excellence Award from Western Theological Seminary.
Dennis was ordained by the Classis of North Grand Rapids in June of 1971 and installed as the Pastor of the Peace Reformed Church of Mt. Prospect, Illinois. From August of 1975 until July of 1982 he served as the Pastor of the Calvary Reformed Church of Holland, Michigan. In August of 1982 he began his pastorate at the Central Reformed Church of Sioux Center, Iowa.
In January of 1995 he became the Pastor of the Second Reformed Church, Hackensack, NJ. He currently also serves as the Chaplain of the Hackensack Fire Department. In May of 2003 he was named a Fellow in Pastoral Leadership Development by the Princeton Theological Seminary.
Dennis is married to the former Carol Lynn Kolkman of Grandville, Michigan since 1966. They have two children, a daughter Jennifer Ann and a son, Joel Robert. Dennis' hobbies include fishing and photography.
