Women’s Group

On Thursday, September 23, 2010 at 6:30pm the first meeting of the Women’s Group took place in Parish Hall.  This was an organizational and planning meeting.  The group is open to all women; those affiliated with the Reformed Church of Saugerties and members of the community as well.  The initial gathering focused on discussion of mission, goals, educational opportunities, and philanthropic ideas.  The church is extremely excited and supportive of this outreach. The group will continue to meet once a month at the church.  Recently the group put together toiletry gift bags for mothers in need and made visits to those in hospitals, nursing facilities, as well as to the homebound. The group will be taking an active part in the upcoming Old Timers Day on August 6th.  Please contact the church refsaug@yahoo.com for monthly meeting times and further information.
