Once upon a time in Berkshire County, two women met while singing in a chorus. When one needed an accompanist for a concert, the other volunteered to fill that role, and a life-long friendship and musical collaboration was born.
Soprano Cardinale Montano brings an extensive history of singing in the Berkshires of Massachusetts. Ms. Cardinale has been part of the Trillium Ensemble, the OctoberZest series of concerts, and the Plane Tree Project to bring solace to grieving families. Her solo concerts are popular with an ever expanding audience. Ms. Cardinale studies voice with Claude Corbeil and Maureen O'Flynn. |
Pianist Lee Dixon has been playing piano and singing in choruses in the Berksires since she "retired" after a long career as a public school music teacher in the Bay Area of California and Westchester County in New York. Ms. Dixon is currently piano accompanist for the Stockbridge Festival Chorus, two school districts in the berkshires, and in in the voice studio of Claude Corbeil and Maureen O'Flynn. |
