Jason Ham, Ruthanne Schempf, and Bonnie Ham performed in concert as the Tower Harmony Ensemble.
Jason Ham has established himself as one of America's most active euphonium soloists, taking the instrument to places that have never seen it in a solo role. A graduate of the University of Georgia, he has numerous competition wins and international performances to his credit. Mr. Ham is a visiting professor of euphonium at Montclair State University and Valade Fellow in Euphonium at the Interlochen Summer Arts Camp in Michigan.
Ruthanne Schempf has studied piano with 1962 Van Cliburn winner Ralph Votapek at Michigan State University, and with Robert Goldsand and Constance Keene at the Manhattan School of Music. She is on the faculties of SUNY-New Paltz and Marist College in Poughkeepsie, where she teaches music history, theory and piano. Ms. Schempf is also a member of the performing group Citylights.
Bonnie Ham is a freelance flutist in the Hudson Valley area, a private flute instructor, and an adjunct faculty member with the music programs at Marist College and SUNY-Dutchess Community College. Ms. Ham studied with Peter Lloyd, former principal flutist of the London Symphony, while she earned a Master's degree and Artist's Diploma from the Royal Northern College of Music in the United Kingdom.
