MedEquip Loan Closet

Medical Equipment Available to be Borrowed at No Cost from the Reformed Church of Poughkeepsie

In operation at the Reformed Church since 1994, the MedEquip Loan Closet is open Wednesday mornings, 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon or by appointment.

Clients can come and take what they need for up to 6 months, enough time to either recover or acquire one of their own. There is no charge to the client for the use of the equipment.

The MedEquip Loan Closet does not loan out items for perpetual or permanent loan. This equipment is intended for use by people with temporary needs or as a temporary solution until a client can obtain their own more permanent solution.

Clients are referred to us by hospital discharge personnel, Office of the Aging, United Way, and the Red Cross among others.

Anne Hartwell, Jane Crispell and Terry Kulakowski welcoming clients. With a crew like this it is no wonder that Medequip is such a success!

The MedEquip Loan Closet is located at the Reformed Church and is accessible via the Hanscom Avenue entrance to the church building's Education Wing. To contact the MedEquip Loan Closet, call (845) 452-0968. The phone is staffed during the MedEquip Loan Closet's normal Wednesday hours, or you can leave a message at that number.
