We hope that you will take advantage of a new and exciting opportunity for fellowship! From the musical antics of the rousing band, "Dog on Fleas", to the meodies of Gerswin performed by none other than the Boston Pops at Tanglewood, you have the chance to explore, have fun and build lasting relationships through excursions offered for adults and families.
We begin the excursion season with two March delightful family events at Rhinebeck’s Center for Performing Arts. April brings the opportunity to partake of a prix fixe, three-course dinner at the Culinary Institute of America's Escoffier Restaurant in our private Library Room! Then, get ready for some splashing good fun at Norwalk’s Aquarium and toy sailboat workshop. The summer offers an array of musical entertainment with Pete Seeger’s Clearwater Festival and the Boston Pop’s Gershwin program at Tanglewood. Three Reformed Church perennial favorites complete the roster: the Bronx Zoo; the Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze with 3,000 extraordinarily spooky and enchanting pumpkins; and the New York Botanical Garden’s whimsical Holiday Train Show!
Another excursion is also possible, if enough of our members indicate an interest. Have you heard about the National Geographic Society's Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs Exhibition that will be visiting Philadelphia’s Franklin Institute this year? If you are interested in seeing this remarkable traveling exhibition, please contact Catherine Harris.
Won't you join us? Excursions are open to members and friends of the Reformed Church and their guests as well as Week-day Nursery School staff, students and families. For more information on registering for these trips, please contact Catherine Harris.
Please register early, as space for some excursions may be limited or require advanced booking.
