Biographies

E. Robert Geehan became the pastor of the Reformed Church of Poughkeepsie in the summer of 1998. Prior to that, he was associate professor of history, teaching world history, ancient history and history of religions at the U. S. Military Academy, West Point (1985-1998) and a Protestant cadet chaplain at the Academy (1984-1993).

Pastor Bob holds full ministerial standing in the United Church of Christ and the Reformed Church in America. Pastor Bob holds degrees from the University of Illinois, Westminster Theological Seminary and the University of Utrecht in the Netherlands.

Bob and Cherrill, married over 40 years, have three grown children. Mrs. Geehan holds two masters degrees -- one in counseling and another in school administration -- and has been teaching in the North Rockland Central School District since 1986.
