The Youth Group of the
Parkway Community Church combines fun activities, spirituality, and
service projects to help youth grow up with friends, good values, and a
strong sense of community involvement. Their goal is to do at least six
community service projects this year. Their first project will be done
in February. They have contacted the United Methodist Church in
Hicksville and asked for a list of items they need to help stock their
food pantry: they serve almost 150 families per month! The Youth Group
will use some of the money they raised to purchase much needed supplies,
as well as hold a food drive starting February 3 through February 24.
