Sunday School

Our Sunday School children meet to learn the important parts of life and faith and are included in the life and fiber of the church in many ways. Each week the children learn about the scriptures and how they relate to their lives today. We would enjoy having more students join us…Sunday School is generally held every Sunday from mid-September until early June at 9:30 with classes for children in pre-school and Kindergarten through 5th grade.

The Guild

Traditionally the Guild has been open to all women of the church, and is basically a service organization. Recently the women opted to change the name from "The Women's Guild" to "The Guild" and have opened the group to include the men of the church as well. Funds are secured through fund raising programs, mainly through the annual Christmas Bazaar held in November of each year. The Guild provides refreshments for Second Sunday coffee hours and for special occasions as well as maintaining kitchen equipment. The Guild has, with the help of the congregation, provided items for hygiene kits which the Church World Service sends out all over the world to areas that have been hit by natural disasters, violence or poverty and for clean-up kits which go out to areas within the United States which have been ravaged by floods. The Guild also maintains the Brandon Wolf Scholarship Fund and participates in a local Adopt a Family program each Christmas.

All men and women of the church are welcome to attend meetings and join in Guild activities....the Guild generally meets on the 3rd Sunday of the month (March through November) following the Sunday Worship service.

Church Choir

There's always room and a hearty welcome in the CCHF Choir for interested singers and those who have the musical gift of playing instruments. We tune up and rehearse each Sunday before the service and then, practice new music and polish up previous anthems after the 9:30 service. Our organist/music director is Aurora Northland.

Prayer Chain

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort that we ourselves receive from God. ~ 2 Corinthians 1:3-4.
