FW Friends Update
Where has all the time gone? This past FW “season” is almost over. There have been changes in our church family just as changes occur in our own family. Some good, some not so good, but adjustments are made and we move on. And so it is with FW Friends. The one wonderful constant has been the children. Thirty active, anxious, eager children are there every Wednesday expecting to learn something new about Jesus or to reinforce what they already know. They are bright kids and catch on fast to concepts that are difficult even for adults. Maybe that’s why Jesus is quoted in Matthew 18:3-5 saying ”I assure you, that unless you turn from your sins and become as little children, you will never get into the Kingdom of Heaven. Therefore, anyone who becomes as humble as this little child is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven. And anyone who welcomes a little child like this on my behalf is welcoming me.”
The FW Team gives a huge “THANK YOU” to those who contributed to the purchase of Bibles . Ninety people attended the family dinner where thirteen Bibles were presented to eight second graders and five older children who had completed their first year with FW. It was a fun night!
We have three more regular meetings left and then the “carnival”. The carnival is the last meeting in April before FW ends for the year. We plan fun games with small prizes and a pizza supper for the kids and team.

Weaving faith into everyday life experiences.
FW Friends Carnival

                                                        FW Friends Carnival

Two full hours of activities woven around a daily Bible story theme.

FW Friends

Children are divided into small multi-age "circles" of 5-6 friends with a teenage or adult Circle Leader who supervises them through all of the activity stations.  Children enjoy mesmerizing Bible stories, happy action children's songs, creative crafts, fun non-competitive games, and a weekly "Surprise" station with a special guest, science experiment or application game.

The afternoon quietly comes to a close as the children gather around a table
to share their applications, journal and pray together before going home.

There is no cost to participate.  A healthy snack is provided.FW Friends
