Nooma

NOOMA is a new format for spiritual direction. It's short films touching
on issues that we care about, that we want to talk about, and it comes
in a way that fits our world. It's a format that's there for us when we
need it, as we need it, how we need it.
Seismic Shifts
Just as seismic shifts in the natural world have
radical and far-reaching effects, there are seismic shifts in our
personal lives that can transform our hearts, relationships, physical
health, faith, and every aspect of our lives. These are the little
changes that can make the big difference!
Just Walk Across the Room
Believers universally affirm that evangelism is a vital part of what God
calls them to do, but very few make a practice of doing it. They feel
awkward and ill-equipped, either because they've never been trained, or
because their lack of interaction with non- Christians prevent them from
using and developing the skills they do have. Bill Hybels addresses
these concerns and signals the next era in personal evangelism with Just
Walk Across the Room. Drawing on fresh perspectives from the author's
own experiences, as well as time-tested and practical illustrations,
Just Walk Across the Room encourages and equips readers to routinely
initiate spiritual conversations with those who don't know Christ.
Experiencing God
This book challenges Christians to experience the
fullness of a life lived in fellowship with a loving, personal God.
Forty Days to a Closer Walk with God:
The Practice of Centering Prayer
"Be still, and know that I am God!"
It's been said that centering prayer is like two friends sitting
together in silence, just being in each other's presence — completely
natural and comfortable. Yet, centering prayer is sometimes viewed as
too mysterious, too escapist, too hard.
The Spirit of the Disciplines:
Understanding How God Changes Lives
Believers long for personal purity and power to live as our hearts tell
us we
should. But how does God change us?
To perform appropriately in the moment when you're "on the spot" you
must be preparing when you're "off the spot.".
Prayer: Does it Make a Difference
Philip
Yancey probes the very heartbeat—the most fundamental, challenging,
perplexing, and deeply rewarding aspect—of our relationship with God:
prayer. What is prayer? Does it change God’s mind or ours—or both? This
book is an invitation to communicate with God the Father who invites us
into an eternal partnership through prayer.
Little House On The Freeway: Help For The Hurried Home
Through wamrth and humor, the author of Home-Grown Heroes and Raising
Kids Who Turn Out Right offers readers sound, practical advice on
