REFUGEE RESETTLEMENT PROJECT . . . Our refugee family is arriving in Schenectady this Tuesday, Aug. 31. Part of our sponsorship responsibility is to provide food until their emergency benefits begin. You can help by participating in our Let's Stock the Pantry FOOD SHOWER, running now through the month of September. Bring in any basic pantry item and place in the bin by the church office. Pick up a list of suggested items at the sanctuary entrance, or at the bin by the church office. Many thanks!

KIDS HOPE USA . . . Kids Hope USA Director, Tee Munson will answer questions and hand out mentor applications on Sunday, September 12 at 11:30 in Memorial Lounge. We need ten people to commit an hour a week to mentor a child at Sacandaga Elementary School for the school year. The three-hour training for mentors is tentatively scheduled for Sunday afternoon, October 17. Call Tee, 895-9097, or Pastor Jan, 370-4751, to learn more.

THE SICM FOOD PANTRY . . . The basket in the Narthex receives our weekly food donations for the Schenectady Inner City Ministries (SICM) Food Pantry. Please add the "food of the week" to your shopping list to share with others. The pantry always needs large diapers, Stage 1 and 2 baby food, Enfamil with Iron formula, and dry mixes (i.e., tuna helper, potato and noodle dishes). We thank Marian Wade for delivering our donations this month.
