OUR LIFE AS A COMMUNITY OF FAITH
ABOUT OUR PEOPLE . . .
CHURCH DIRECTRIES . . . Our new church directories are available for pick-up on the table outside the church office. There is one directory for every household that had their picture taken. New members, see Pastors Craig or Jan for a copy of the directory.
FRC BOOK GROUP . . . Join others on the third Tuesday of the month at 7:15 in the Lakehill Room for a discussion of a good book, and what that book may show us about our faith or about the world in which we live out our faith. Here’s our next book.
ORGAN CONCERT . . . Church Organist Justan Foster joins Al Fedak, Church Organist of the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Albany (and son-in-law to our own Myron and Alicia Hermance), for a joint concert this Friday evening at 7:30 at the Westminster Presbyterian Church.
FROGS . . . our youth group for 3rd through 8th graders meets this Saturday, November 19 for a two-part event.
HANGING OF THE GREENS . . . will be held on Sunday, November 27 at 3:30. Come help us vest the church for Advent and Christmas. There will be a potluck supper at 5:30. Please bring a dish to share and your own table service. Drinks and desserts are provided. We will have materials for each household to assemble an Advent wreath. These cost $10 per wreath. Your donation that evening is helpful. Please let us know you’re coming by signing up on the bulletin board next to Pastor Craig’s study.
TUESDAY CARE-GIVING . . . Our Care-giving Group for those who are caring for someone and looking for some support usually meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 12:15. We meet next on Monday, December 5. Note the change of day. All are welcome; bring a friend. Check the website www.Caring.com for helpful information.
ADULT YOUTH GROUP . . . This group for 20 and 30-somethings does most of its communicating by email. Are you on their list? If not, please contact Mike Torelli, MTorelli@bradcosupply.com.
FOYER DISPLAY CASE . . . Check out the items on display in the glass case outside Memorial Lounge. The Schaefer Family presents “Stuff We Grew Up With”. Thanks, Schaefers!
