Stephen Ministry is a global Christian caregiving ministry. Stephen Ministers are trained and supervised lay members of the church. Stephen Ministers receive over 50 hours of training. Topics covered include confidentiality, boundaries, assertiveness, listening, crisis, depression, grief, divorce and mental health.

Stephen Ministers provide one-to-one Christian care dealing with low self-esteem, illness/hospitalization, family frustrations and challenges, crisis, moving, death or serious loss, terminal illness, job loss, separation/divorce, pregnancy/adoption or the disabled and their families.

The Stephen Series logo consists of a cross and circle together with a broken person and a whole person. The broken person behind the cross symbolizes the brokenness in our lives. The whole person stands in front of the cross because it is only through the cross of Jesus we are made whole.
