Check out this page to find lots of challenging and fun activities
planned as the Lord wills and enables us-- plans for worshipping and
serving our Lord, for encouragement, and for fun as we rejoice in the
blessing of Christian fellowship.
"They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to
prayer." (Acts 2:42 - New International Version)

through June, in the rooms of Fellowship Hall. Age appropriate
classes offer crafts and other fun activities for younger students, the
Adult Bible study and prayer group meets in the Ivory Room, and nursery
care is available for infants and very young children.
Our Wednesday evening Adult prayer group and Bible study meets in the Ivory Room of Fellowship
Hall each
Wednesday evening beginning at 7:45 pm, year round except during
the month of August.
Why not come on out and join us?

The
Music Ministry Team is always ready to welcome new members, but now is an especially
good time. We are beginning to study some wonderful new music, and
YOU are invited to join us in the endeavor! You don't need to be a
professional musician to sing with us. All you need is a heart
that is filled to overflowing with love for our wonderful Lord and
Savior. You know, yourself, that when your heart is filled with
love it can't help but sing, so you might as well open your lips and let
the music out and share your joy with others! Come and let your
heart join with ours to honor God in hymns and songs of praise and
worship. Practice begins each Wednesday evening at 6:30 p.m.
in the Sanctuary.

The
EverReady Ladies' Circle meets monthly.
The meeting
is open to all ladies interested in fellowship and service to the church
family.

Note: The following
event isn't a "recent" event but we have chosen to leave it posted
as a tribute to a beloved sister in the Fairfield Church family.
After a valiant struggle with cancer Diana Rowland went home to be with
the Lord on January 8, 2008.
The EverReady Circle hosted
a "Victorian Tea" on Saturday, April 21, 2007. The event was open to
the community and featured a special presentation on the art of quilting
by church family member and local artisan, Diana Rowland. Diana grew up in Verona, has lived in Montclair for many years, and has
been a member of the Fairfield Reformed Church for 10 years.
Although she has done embroidery for 30 years, she began quilting in the
mid- 1990's and days quilts and embroidery are all over her house,
changed from time to time by season and whim. All of her quilts
and embroidery are made completely by hand. She explained that, to
the extent it is possible, she wants her work to celebrate the beauty
and order of God, in whom are the attributes of beauty, truth, and order
in their ultimate state. Click on a picture below to see an enlarged version, then click your
