Concert by the Crestwood Chorus
at the Community Reformed Church
On Dec. 2 and 3, 2006, the Crestwood Chorus presented two concerts
of Christmas music at the Community Reformed Church in Whiting.
This musical group includes among its numbers several members
of the Community Reformed Church.
Ruthelaine MacIntyre is the director of the Chorus
Joan Wien, pianist
Susan Shanahan, organist
The Chime Choir performed early in the program
The Sopranos . . . and Altos
The Basses . . . and Tenors
The director leads the group
The program included many familiar Christmas carols
Mike Marukux, special guest percussionist
Guest percussionist Mike joins the group for a "calypso" number
Afterwards, Barbara Relkin, president of the group, presents flowers to the director
Pianist Joan Wien was also presented with a bouquet
Nancy Jones, one of the soloists
An appreciative audience enjoyed the music
