...Growth means change.  Two years ago, our congregation went though a period of reflection with "The Purpose Driven Life" study.  At that time, we felt the Lord calling us to a new beginning.  We have done extensive renovations, making the facilities more attractive and comfortable, and adding a power point projection system.  More importantly, we felt called to put more emphasis on small group fellowship, prayer, and community outreach.

...Growth means there's room for more.  We thank the Lord that in these last two years, we have welcomed new members.  But our congregation is very much a work in progress, and we are looking for those whom the Lord will add to our number.  Perhaps the Lord is calling you to come and help us.

...Growth means we haven't arrived yet.  We're not perfectly accessible.  Not everyone feels at home here, but we keep working at it.  Sometimes I use big words, even in the children's time;  but I try not to.  Even our building is not as accessible as we would like...unfortunately our bathrooms are not wheelchair accessible.  We are not perfect in our interaction either.  We are definitely looking for more young adults and children to balance out our church family.  And we are looking for more effective ways to interact with our community.

So...we are not the perfect church.  And that means on the one hand that people like you, people with weaknesses, will fit right in!  On the other hand, if you are looking for a church home, maybe you can help make ours better.  We can grow together!
