The RCYF is working on the Chandler 125th Anniversary Cookbook. No more then two recipes per family please. Recipes due by December 15, 2010. You can pre-order your City of Chandler 125th Anniversary Cookbooks for $10 each by Dec. 15th or later for $12. Payment must be made with your order.
Get in out of the cold and warm up your insides with homemade Chili at the 3rd Annual Chandler Chili Challenge. It is being held on Thursday, November 18, 2010 from 5 – 7:30 p.m. at the Chandler Community Center. Menu includes: Chili, tea rolls, bars, coffee, & milk. This is a free will donation fundraiser to help defray costs for the City of Chandler’s 125th Celebration in June 2011. Last year’s winners Jeff Gunnink (Judge’s Choice) and Dennis Welgraven (People’s Choice) will be back to defend their titles!
Because of you, Lord, and because of you, our supporters, is the reflection we are able to celebrate at the Southwest MN Christian High School's Carry the Light Celebration on Friday, November 19. Please join the SWMCH school board for this annual fundraising event for our general fund. We will begin the evening with hor d'oeuvres at 5:30 p.m. followed by the pork tenderloin dinner at 6:30 p.m. The silent auction will run from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. The regular auction will begin at 7:15 p.m. The women will meet in the music room and the men in the gym. We will join together again at 8:30 p.m. for the combined auction and dessert. Our emcees for the evening, Brian Busker and Howard Schaap, are making plans for an unforgettable evening. Reserve a ticket for yourself, call your friends and family, and reserve a table for dinner by contacting the school office (442-4471). The cost for the dinner ticket is $12.00. |
